CAMPAIGNS PROJECT
BALODANA
For my capstone class for advertising, my team and I were tasked with creating a campaign for our client Balodana, I was a part of the creative team and was in charge of creating the mock-ups of our concepts and the design for our plans book.
Balodana is an online marketplace for women’s bespoke clothing. Balodana’s owner, Dana Todd, wanted our team to focus on creating a campaign that would encourage tailors to partner with Balodana (B2B) and also target women over the age of 35 (B2C). My team and I created the “A Stitch Ahead” campaign based on our research, and you can view the final plans book by clicking the image to the right.
B2B CREATIVE
ADVERTISING MESSAGE STRATEGY PROJECT
WALKER’S COFFE & PUB
In my Advertising Message Strategy class, the final group project included selecting a local Athens business in order to create a re-branding advertising campaign. We created mockups of the recommended components of our campaign, such as loyalty cards, print advertisements, menu redesign, and website update. Collectively, our group consulted with the management of the local business to create our final campaign.
GRAPHIC SYSTEMS
This course introduced core systematic design approaches with an emphasis on research, visual logic, forms, and data visualization. The first project included forming a grid system and exploring typographic elements, with an emphasis on fonts and my own creation of characters. For my own font creations, I focused on color and the contrast of curved and linear lines seen in the lowercase "m" and uppercase "M."
For another project, I was given an unknown recorded sound that I had to translate into a visual representation. The sound I represented was a recording of someone driving on the highway, so I focused on the consistency of the sound of wind and represented the slight variations accordingly.
TYPOGRAPHY
In my typography course, I learned to create characters and fonts with proper spacing techniques, and the importance of details in each character. For the final project, I was instructed to choose two letters to combine into a logo. I chose the letters "M" and "V" for the logo.
